Cosmode #28 is out

Mon Jun 29, 2009, 12:31 PM
Today India sent over some scans of Cosmode #28. She special-ordered a copy from Kinokuniya since they're all sold out in New York. We've got a 2-page feature shot by Kyle Johnsen of cosplay.com at the Dabora Gallery in Brooklyn, [link] I'm really excited! I've always wanted to be in Cosmode.

I'm under house arrest and won't be going to any cons or events until some progress is made on my next costumes. I let them go way too long and now I'm scrambling. It's been raining every day for the past month, so I have a lot of painting to do.

In other news, I have 2,000 costumes I really want to be working on but can't start until after these are finished. In particular, a color reference of Doll from Kuroshitsuji just came out, and I've been waiting for that for months. I can't start sewing, but at least I can buy oodles of flowers in preparation.
